ST.CHARLES, MO (KMOX)-The man found murdered in his car on a St. Charles overpass is now being publicly identified.

Major Case Squad Lt. Mike Akers tells KMOX the victim is 23 year old Daniel Christopher Brennan of Wentzville.

Akers says a St. Charles Police officer found Brennan in his car, on the Cave Springs overpass just south of I-70.  Akers says Brennan, “Had sustained a gunshot wound.”

Brennan died at a hospital, less than three hours later.

Detectives aren’t releasing any other details.
