ST. LOUIS, MO (KMOX)-Two St. Louis school students were injured Friday, when somene fired a pellet gun at their busses.

Police were initially called to Gasconade and Virginia, where an 11 year old girl was hit in an arm. Police say she was riding with her arm up on the seat in front of her, when she felt a severe pain and looked down to see blood.

After being treated by paramedics the girl was seen walking gingerly, with a bandage around her arm, to her mother’s car.

A short time later police were called to Meramec and Giles. There a 14 year old girl had been hit in the chest by glass after a pellet hit the window where she was sitting.  She was treated on the scene and released.

Another student on the second bus tells KMOX that when the bus stopped to let some students off, he could see one in a group of teenagers pumping the gun. He says the teen then pointed it at the window and shot.

He says those teenagers had previously thrown water balloons at the bus.

At last report, those teens are still at large.
