Several things. I am sure someone told you there were two Senate races on the Illinois ballett because on was to fill the un-expired term of Roland Burris.
You wondered why Quninn won even though the Republican won the Senate race. Two reasons-sever weeks ago Quinn bought off the unions with a deal on their pensions. It saved the state money in the short-term but long-term will cost a lot. Also, a lot of state employees, like a friend of mine who is a staunch Republican, voted for Quinn because they want him to raise the income tax to preserve their jobs.
Finally, I am sorry the Cards are coming to KMOX. We get Rush and the Cards on the same station in Springfield, IL and when the Cards bumped Rush I switch to 1120 to hear Rush. I started listening to you because you are much better than Hannity.
