Charlie hosts KMOX’s January 2011 Fontbonne University/Charlie Brennan Show Book Club event live from the Board Room of the East-West Gateway Council of Governments in Downtown St. Louis, featuring the authors of the children’s mega-bestselling book series, Magic Tree House, Mary Pope Osborne and her sister, Natalie Pope Boyce.
After more than twenty years at KMOX, Charles Brennan is in charge of the station's top-rated weekday mid-mornings. Brennan has been voted St. Louis' favorite talk show host four times in the Readers Polls of the Riverfront Times. In 1998, he was named Media Person of the Year by the St. Louis Press Club. In 2008, St. Louis Magazine called him “one of the 50 most powerful St. Louisans.” He was also called “one of St. Louis’ most influential people” by the St. Louis Business Journal in 2008.
The next KMOX/Fontbonne University Book Club will feature Mary Pope Osborne and Natalie Pope Boyce, authors of the best-selling children's book series Magic Tree House. The event will take place Tuesday, January 18th at 11 a.m.
