Survey teams from the National Weather Service confirm that much of Friday’s storm damage in southern and eastern Missouri was caused by tornadoes. The strongest tornadoes hit Fort Leonard Wood, where several homes on the sprawling Army post were destroyed, and the St. Louis County town of Sunset Hills.
